Lamisil Once is indicated for the treatment of: skin conditions such as tinea pedis or tinea corporis. It helps control asthma and wheezing.
Lamisil Once works by inhibiting an enzyme called fungal cell membrane ergosterol 3-hydrogen-bicucurometHosphorylicester(F�H)-reductase.This enzyme converts ergosterol into compound ergosterol which is a bi-alkylated sterol, a compound that helps maintain the structure of ergosterol in the cell membrane. It has no effect on cell membranes.
This action disrupts the activity of fungal cell walls and allows the cell to survive. It does not treat infections caused by fungi.

Lamisil Cream works by stopping the growth of the fungi.
It does this by stopping the synthesis of the fungal cell wall, which allows the fungus to die and create a infection. The cell wall is composed of glycosides. This leads to the production of the cell wall which in turn allows the fungi to survive.
This medication prevents the fungal cell wall from breaking down. This helps to prevent the infection from occurring.
It will not cure the infection or reduce the number of fungi.
This medicine is not an over-the-counter (OTC) antifungal medication. It is only intended as a short-term treatment for certain fungal infections, such as the following infections of the fingernail and toenail:
